Today, at 3:00 PM sharp, I submitted my final final essay at the MA program at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities: a paper on Rakhshan Bani-Etemad’s The May Lady and We Are Half of Iran’s Population for my class on contemporary art and theory of the Middle East. Two and a half years since I started my journey at 2015 Riverside. Two and a half years of an incredible experience with my lovely colleagues and under my amazing professors officially ended with the end of my coursework at my lovely U. I cannot begin to imagine how this experience has transformed my life. John gave me a snow-globe with Claes Oldenburg’s Spoonbridge and Cherry with beautiful Minneapolis’s downtown in the background. I will miss Minneapolis. I will miss you all. Thank you for what you have brought to my life.
